Mayor Ariel
There are three paths taken by all wielders. The first is what most rogue wielders try to pursue, abandon their programming and try and live normal lives. This can work, but that programming will always remain, a ticking time bomb waiting to be triggered. It appears that Lily met this criteria.
The second is the simplest, being what STEEL intends for all wielders. To fully embrace your programming. Live, fight, and die.
The third is balance. Accepting the programming for what it is, but still pursuing a life beyond it. This is very difficult, but not impossible.
From what I see, you fall within the second category. You might not be under STEEL's influence, but you still perform the tasks that would be expected of a C3 unit.
Lily fell into the first category, but now with her old life gone, and the programing taking affect, her best option is the third category. She can still reclaim a civilian lifestyle, but she must come to terms with her programming.
Just be cautious that in trying to get her to accept herself, that she doesn't go too far and fall into the first category.
As for you, you are already there, so you need to find some purpose outside of fighting and conflict some day.
Okay, that is a lot to take in.
But how are we to do that when embarking on missions against STEEL?It won't be easy, but you do have eachother. There is a kinship among wielders, moreso from the same models, also hence the name of the Kin. But, you and Lily are something different. Less a comradery and more of a genuine sibling affection.
Very strong, very atypical emotions for wielders by STEEL's design.
Thanks Ariel, I won't forget this.Posted using PostyBirb
