Fighting during the Ascarian invasion of Earth, Areomin Army troops are pinned down after their APC was hit by that obvious position built by American civvies outfitted with military gear. A Marine strike team has arrived to assist and are using the APC as cover.

This picture has been in progress one way or another since mid 2023. I’ve nearly given up on it several times. Originally it was conceived as the Ascarian pair to the Armored Patrol picture from the same year but it sort of ballooned out in scope.

Over all though, I am really happy I actually finished it and I love how it turned out. :D

Lots of little details and worldbuilding for it too.
