Inspired by my financial situation in 2005, and sadly it still holds true today. By the way, the boathouse in the background was inspired by a similar structure in Irvine Park, CA. An elegant, quaint old Boatery that's been around since early in the 20th Century.

I got the idea to number the "Fortune Cookie" Number Seven because of an old Goons Show gag where Major Dennid Bloodnok (Ret.) is supposedly in charge of a "Small Fleet" of sailing vessels. He promply whistles and calls in Number 7, which implies the "Fleet" at his command is probably nothing more than a bunch of small, day boats on a lake in a Park.
