I did this picture shortly after seeing  MommySpike's last colored picture of her gargoyle character Mowson. I've always liked Mawson and decided that day to sketch up a picture of a female who was very interested in him... and very furry so she might be able to live in the artic with him... that would be if they were to end up as mates... for now she's very happy to just take covert looks at him and hope he might notice her after he realizes that Ariana is only interested in him as a friend.

I wouldn't be surprised if Maki was one who would be trying to help Ari-chan and Kirin get together in part because she'd probably become friends with the beaked female and also in part that the sooner everybody else realizes that they're not going to sperate Kirin and Ariana the sooner Mowson might start checking out the other females around him... Maki's hope she's tops on that list.

Other notes:
Maki is supposed to have long fingers and toes but I'm not really that great at drawing them and making them look right. The length is because of the animal she looks like, a ringtailed lemur. I've also been plaing with the idea of her claw tipped wings having the talons/fingers be longer as well.
