Now we also can neither sell nor buy real estate.

It's far worse when you have to deal with the stupid of others, yes? Rental Investment Firms have made buying a house unaffordable over here for decades. I've been saving my pennies up to buy a house of my own but every year the price goes up $50,000 - $100,000 each year and the houses that are privately owned are just sitting on them as investments. I'm able to match it but my money pile keeps getting valueless each year. Being priced out sucks! x_x;
