Acornfiles: Maxus and Rowena.

Because there is not 2 without 3 here we have a long overdue epic picture :3 Done by none other of the greatest  Zael_va I cannot thank her enough for doing many of my these pictures.

So for the last months of these year, if fair that I upload some of these Aspect Files, and who better to start one of these than with the last member of the original Squalien Trio from Get Blake: Maxus.

Maxus is what you would call an non elemental energy Sciurus, that focus on creating all kinds of matter and materials for such weapons :3 he shares some background with Jerome so we shall focus on what made him apart from his brother.

Background for my series:

Like his brother Jerome, Maxus was born thinking he could make a change into the Sciurus, but in his case, he was going to prove it by showing off his imagination of creating trinkets and other devices to makes things more convenient, not simpler, which he always understood there was a big difference.

While his talent was undeniable, it always a talent under the radar of the Squaliens and just ignored it, thinking it was anything that any other Squalien could do. So he and his brother had to always do their best to make sure they were noticed and that everyone noticed his potential.

That is why he desired for him and his brother to join the training program that their uncle General Eugene was part of and to show that his imagination could bring him to new heights and be known as the intelligent and resourceful Sciurus he was. That decision would prove to be the hardest and most rewarding…

As he trained, his bossy and *leader* skills as he called them, caused strains among other Sciurus and just label him as one of those with delirium of grandeur, that would end up accomplishing nothing. Still General Eugene saw his hidden potential and also from his nephew Jerome and managed to assign them to a mission to Earth. Alongside Leonard, they all thought this would be their chance to show the many ideas and inventions he could create.

But of course the fate had a different destiny even to the point where they were captured and while captured, Maxus had to be the beacon of hope for his brother Jerome especially after the long days of torture both had to endure. And that faith one day paid off…

Sciurus era.

After being freed and regrouping for with all the other Earth Squirrels, Maxus for the first time thought that maybe his talents were not enough to be part of this new order among the Sciurus, especially after hearing from General Eugene the fate of the old Sciurus and after hearing about the possible way of training.

What of his imagination was now lacking or not enough to impress them? What would be his fate?

Those were his doubts and after his lack of skills and counter measures during the first fight in the Arclain Lake, further depressed him and even scared him. But when Crossarious declared he would be part of the War Priests of the Crimson Acorn , his confidence returned for a bit, especially when he saw that Leonard and Jerome were able to bring their own abilities.

He managed to also unlock his own abilities which were mostly bring any weapon he could think of; being slicing, blunt, or even odd choices of weapons, like drills and throwing stars, and of various materials, like metal, rock and even diamond. Still he was disappointed he was not able to change matter like in an elemental enhanced attacks like the others, but he still had to try and prove why he was chosen for such a high rank among the Sciurus.

After what happened in Earth and after knowing the truth about their role in the universe he tried harder to awaken an elemental power to help others and be more effective in battle… as time passed, he was stuck in creating weapons and materials and he was getting discouraged about his own skills and abilities and that was when a certain Divine Sciurus decided to focus on him.

Relationship with Rowena.

Rowena one day approached Maxus when he noticed he was still trying to train about doing any kind of elemental attacks, by using, fire, water, ice or even electricity as conduits… but with no result. It was when Rowena approached him asking him the urgency of wanting to get an elemental type pf abilities. Maxus replied he just did not wanted to be seen as weak or underpowered Sciurus, especially after the title he was given. He already proved he was skilled at wielding and creating every weapon he could think of of and mold with the Rutilans Matter abilities given to him, and yet he wanted more to enhance them and be more effective in battle, as mere weapons could be blocked or deflected easily.

Upon seeing his determination to get better, Rowena told him he was doing it the wrong way, as he was focusing on the a skill that he had no affinity of, and that was something every species was born with. That was true even for the Divine Rulers, and she took her as example, as she could not wield do any elemental Rutilans matter, instead she used the very pure energy if Rutilans matters. It was energy yes, just not imbued with any elemental enhancement, and that one is what allowed her to change the nature of the matter around her and change it to other forms of matter, of all states.

Rowena explained instead, she could used that very pure form of Rutilans matters to launch an energy that could *disintegrate* anyone hit by them, and that was the best word to describe it as what happened was that it *deconstructed* the targets into molecules, basically turning them into matter atom dust. It was of course non imbued with any kind of elemental energy, and still it was as important as all the others. So she suggested to focus instead of his own strengths…

Maxus tried to make a rebuttal by saying, that just creating weapons from changing the surrounding was not that impressive, and that could become a disadvantage in battle. But Rowena showed him with actions, how strong such abilities could be, by quickly using 3 apparently identical arrows and she launched all 3 at the same time with her bow: one hit and exploded against a tree and *disintegrated* a side of it, one went straight through a rock almost as if a drill pierced it and the last one exploded into many blades that quickly cute through a bunch of branches and made them fall into the ground.

Maxus was impressed and Rowena explained that all arrows were made of different materials she could created for the heads and that yielded all different results. She did commended Maxus for having an active imagination, and she told him to use it to create all kinds of weapons of different materials, and even those who could imbue them with other elemental attacks by other comrades, like Leonard’s thunder or Jerome’s ice… that was where his weapons could shine and show the teamwork they needed.

Maxus pondered and reflected on his actions and his current goals… maybe he could create all different kind of materials and weapons out of them. How could he use them to help others and be a crucial part for others? He then thought about what Rowena showed him and he noticed the energy she imbued the different arrowheads… and even the shape and forms of them.

Maxus then asked Rowena to train him, about the creation of matter with acorns and how to change it to create all sorts of weapons. Rowena took the time to show him how to use the Rutilans matter to create all sorts of matter and other materials. With time, Maxus decided to make his own signature weapons which were mostly drills of all kind, thinking their purpose was to pierce through all defenses and make openings in the battlefields and in life on general much like he wished to do…

The end result of those years of training was the current weapon that Maxus is wielding, his drill lance hybrid. Just like Rowena, he was able to imbue part of his own Rutilans Matter energy into the weapons he created to cause various effects like the explosion that is shown in this picytues on and even to make his weapons into different for most of situations. Thus many of the Sciurus and Crimson Acorn members respect his own skills and see him as a great frontline squirrel, and a great partner to work with…

Maxus was forever grateful with Rowena for showing him the way and now be proud of the skills he developed. He once treated her for a mushroom pizza and she was happy to share it with a fellow Sciurus student. Also found in her a similar bond he shared with his mother, that passed away during his capture years… and for such he considers he wishes to keep improving and doing his best, for the sake of defending the Aspect of matter and for the one that trusted his in him and his his abilities.

His story and his adventures would continue on the future. :3
