Deltarune Concept OC - The Lone Dark Prince, Feylow
Another Deltarune concept i had cooking for a while, but due to the release of "Shop 3" in Toby's recent Newsletter and another Deltarune character fitting his mold better (🐈⬛💛🩷) we decided to release them now...
Meet the Lone Dark Prince of Flowers, Feylow - the symbolic brother of Ralsei
Lore:
Made of the same stuff that makes Ralsei special as a darkner, Feylow is the physical woes and reminiscence of Asgore's past and Kris's memories of the divorce.
Unlike the positive yet secretly depressed Ralsei, Feylow is visibly depressed of most emotions but secretly has a grudge only seen via some backtracking and sleuthing.
Since the OC is based on RayArtA_R's CHILDHOOD_HAS_PASSED, Feylow acts as a sort of assistant to Asgore in the Flower Shop Dark World to help soothe the pain that Asgore feels - however due to the circumstances he has grown quite physically distant from others by living within the many reflective surfaces of the Dark World; which contains many mirrors and reflectable surfaces for him to appear on.
He may be quite distant before The Fun Gang arrives; where if you instead backtrack when Ralsei leaves the party to go ahead, Ralsei and Feylow although seperated from dimensions reminisce on what they both know and try to solve that problem with the Last Prophecy hanging over their temporary consciences.
Eventually you'll fight Asgore who always had a mirror mask to fit his Dark World armor, but upon it breaking they fall to sleep and Ralsei being so shock that after the main bossfight he leaves - of course with it being the last boss of the chapter before you seal the fountain you might brush this off as whatever, however it unsettled Ralsei enough for them to be visibly disgusted without telling you the whole thing. This acts as your only hint to backtrack to the mirror room that was locked until now, entering the room there's a mirror that you can enter into leading to where you see Ralsei and Feylow bickering about what Feylow done by controlling Asgore like that.
Feylow snaps upon realizing you and Susie are here and knocks Kris and Susie unconscious; and before killing Kris with a shard of mirror, Ralsei uses a blue flame to knock it away. The field then morphs into a burning field where the brothers fight.
