A pair of twin deers, Steele and Spicer, down a snowy hill, enjoying winter days together: cold air, snow flying around them, no worrying about anything else.
There’s something especially nostalgic about drawing scenes like this, a kind of fake nostalgia since I never got to do anything like this when I was younger, since I didn't get to see snow until I was adult, but there is something about the feeling of being in a snowy place or just to seeing snow that brings me some kind of joy, it is like everything goes to a different tone. It's hard to explain.
But well, this was done during the Artists Alley at MFF.
Traditional. Color markers and pencils over toned tan paper.
