COMMISSION: Oh Hello by Ryoken
--THIS IS NOT MY WORK, I ONLY COMMISSIONED IT--
The artwork is by
Ryoken. Go give them some love!
The original submission is here: (https://www.furaffinity.net/view/4747669/), so if you want to comment or fave I encourage you to do it there too!
Another one I got from Ryoken! This started as a pencil sketch commission (http://www.furaffinity.net/view/4231436/) where he totally surprised me with the cool angle. I loved it, and when I saw him going back and coloring sketch commissions for other people for a bit more money I went for that too. He again surprised and delighted me with that focus effect. All in all I was totally blown away and delighted once again by his work. That couch looks awesomely comfy, and I look uncharacteristically badass. If slightly confused as to why you are on my ceiling.

Hm! Worth a ponder... All told, probably somewhere between 100 and 150 dollars when I total up the larger ones with the smaller icons and such. Considering how much fun it is every time I get one, I think it's money well spent and I'll definitely be getting more now and then. ^^
That's a big part of it I think, yeah. :) When you buy most things, very little of the money ends up going to the person who designed it or builds it or records it or whatever, a lot gets lost to middlemen, distributors, recording companies, studios, whatever. When you commission artwork from one of the countless wonderful artists in this community, all that money goes to THEM. To a real person that I can talk with and who I've just seen is working hard and has talent and neat ideas and more often than not might be working as hard as they can to make ends meet and pay off student loans and who knows what else. So it feels like a darn good way to spend some of what I've earned!
