Anyway, For those of you who watch me for my music, long time no see :)
It been fucking hot and humid here and I discovered that such conditions are amplified in an attic studio with poor ventilation. My studio has been intolerable.
In fact, right now it is 3:04 AM my time, and I am sweating like a pig even typing this at my desk up here :/

Ok, no that that out of my system, I tried something new here. Up until now I have been a retard using muy one boom mic stand to mice the guitar while using a standard one to do my vocals. this time I switched them. I was able to get much clearer vocals cause I was able to get the mic closer and the guitar didn't mind either.

The vocals are miced with my Rode NT-1A and the guitar is miced at the neck joint with a MXL 603s pencil condenser.
Another interesting fun fact! I found out one of my XLR cables has either a bad ground or a EM leak. What noise!

I still having difficulty balancing these mics. I wanted to mix the guitar a bit louder but I couldn't do it without have a big *thud* every time I hit that low bass note. I will say that Now that I am listening to this on my two way fishers the guitar is way to quiet. On the jbls upstairs and through the monitors it sounded tolerable. Of course it was pretty late and I hada few shots so I might have not been the best judge.
