Hello everyone!
Today I've decided to finish one of my very old drawings. It's a Yautja character called Dave! I've designed him a very long time ago and he was supposed to be another OC of mine.
Now I'll quickly tell you something about him.
Name: Dha-viath or Dave
Age: around 30 years old
Species: Yautja
Gender: Male
Life and history:
Dha-viath was born on a planet called Yautja Prime. Since his young age he was a great disappointment to his family. He failed everything he tried to do and nobody liked him.
When he became teenager, he started to rebel against his parents and eventually he decided to run from his family and past. He spent a few years on a run and he changed his name to Dave.
Dave's life was bad. He was homeless, joined a few bad groups and spent most of his time in bar or nightclubs. This life wasn't very good for him but he still felt more comfortable this way than he felt back home. Dave's main goal was to separate himself from the Yautja culture and traditions.
Around his 30s he became a gun for hire. He hasn't changed his lifestyle much and still enjoyed getting drunk in every single bar he could find. But at least he was making money now!
Eventually, Dave found himself a work partner who also became his greatest friend. The friend's name was Subject 5 and he was actually a humanoid mutant who came from Janek's DNA. This mutated version of Janek was usually a big brute but Dave liked him anyway. Together they both cruised through the space always looking for more work and adventure.
Most people would probably hate this way of the life but Dave never did. He actually enjoyed it! This way he could finally feel free!
Appearance, hobbies and likings:
Dave always was and always will be a rebel. That also can be seen on his favourite outfits. Dave mostly likes to wear a simple leather jacket and jeans. But he also likes to decorate himself with gold chains, colorfull pieces of clothing and other gold jewellery.
Dave's golden mask is actually handmade! His old Yautja mask with the rest of equipment were left behind on his home planet. This new mask was made by himself and it serves no other purpose than being a simple face decoration.
As you might have noticed, Dave also likes to wear a transparent nylon socks. He enjoys the feeling of nylon covering both his feet plus he likes to tease his mutated friend with those too since Subject 5 likes nylons on Dave's feet a lot.
Dave likes to collect trophies during his missions. Usually it's antique weapons or some golden stuff.
Did you know that Dave's original name Dha-viath means disaster in his language?
