Hepatica likes to go on a nice drive on sunny days like this, and it's often she finds herself on the tail end of luck. Not that she minds however, it usually means she gets a little bit of pampering at the shop, or some nice new tires. It seemed that she was well on her way to getting both today!Trouble started when there was a slight clunking sound that started coming from her engine, with the check engine light turning on shortly after. It wasn't much longer that she began to lose some power, forcing her to push herself to keep up her speed, further adding to the heat her engine was generating. She was so preoccupied managing the engine that she hadn't noticed what was ahead of her! It seems a construction truck well ahead of her had hit a bit of a bump, some of the unsecured boxes of items flinging out the back, one of which being some rather heavy duty nails. It didn't take long until...*PAP-POP-PAP-* followed by a slow, steady *sssssssssssssss~*. She let out a surprised squeak, realizing that she was rolling right through a scattered mess of nails and other debris. *PAPPAPPOPPOP-* The slow hiss soon turned to a deep, heavy *hhhhsssssssssssshhhhhhh!* as all of her tires leaked at once. She couldn't help but blush at the feeling of her air leaking out, her tires going soft and flattening out against the pavement, low *flubflubflub* sounds being heard by one of her tires that leaked out the fastest. Her tires already had several patches across them, showing she'd had some run-ins with sharp objects before, and now there were so many holes she'd need plenty more to keep these tires running well!Hepatica had to kick up the RPMs to keep her moving, stressing her troubled engine even further, to the point smoke and began to rise out from the corners of her hood! It didn't take long for her to finally call it quits, all 4 of her tires flat and floppy, her rims rubbing against the ground through the layers of rubber. With her engine hissing out steam, she put it into park and let out a deep and heavy sigh of bliss. She found the heat in her engine and the sensation of breaking down on 4 flats, nails digging into her rubber, to be so delightful! Thankfully it was a commonly used road, so it wouldn't be long before someone found her pulled over on the side of the road. Though she did put on her hazard lights, just to help warn anyone behind her of the mess strewn across the road she was (un)lucky to come across~
