There is absolutely no way they are EVER going to be comfortable laying on their back. Their mohawk-ed fins are only semi-flexible. The fins soften in the water, though, and such makes for nice gliding. They can breathe underwater, but they only absorb oxygen when there's water running through their gills, like many other aquatic mammals. Unfortunately, they do not have the sleeping capabilities of shark (moving while sleeping). And so, they belly-sleep on land. Tough luck!
