Okay this was a idea i had with a timeline type of thing...
One where Ben messes up big time to which he loses the omitrix and stops being a hero
But
The tiny amount of ectonurite DNA in The Omnitrix decides being trapped with Ben is better than being trapped in a endless loop of data on Primus , so it breaks out again and into Ben's DNA while slowly starting to change it into you guessed it, ectonurite DNA all while Ben start going down a bad path of slowly becoming a bad guy while also slowly turning into a full-fledged ectonurite (with maaaaaybe anodite powers...) in a slow body horror way (I'd imagined some of his intestines turning into the striped tendrils they have)
Now he wouldn't be turning into zs'skayr or even a copy... But he would be connected to him in some way, like taking his madness from him (I like to think ectonurites can't properly handle the revival process to wear it leads to madness and if a bit of their sentient DNA gets out and starts trying to repair itself it becomes sort of an offspring type of deal but able to 'funnel' stuff away from the main 'parent' it came from...)
