I lo♡e that kind of place. We had a few in the area but even with two universities and a half-dozen colleges in the area, darned few people read any more. Sadly, Bookman's farthest East store is... Speedway Blvd., Tucson.

Closest one for me is in Flagstaff. Damn near 2 hour drive
Half Price Books that started in Dallas is similar and they operate in a number of states plus sell online.

We had Paperback Book Trader here for a while. Even before them we had Ziesing Brothers' Book Emporium in Willimantic, Connecticut and The Other Brother in Storrs (UConn). They struck their tent after a few years and brother Mark moved back to Shingletown, CA to continue as a (mostly) buy by-mail book dealer. He also publishes some books under Mark V. Ziesing. The store is Ziesings.com on the Interwebz.
