This was a commission by the amazing  PandaDox that I bought around fall last year. Additional to my Halloween icon, I asked him if he would feel up to the task of drawing a really dark picture for me.

I had this idea a while now: My character Night pierced with syringes that pump him full of mutagen that turn him into a mindless beast. And while he struggles to control his own self, he feels himself slipping into madness.
It was really cool concept, but since I have a hard time drawing really dark or scary pictures, I knew this needed to be done by someone else.
And being a fan of PandaDox' artwork for a while now, he was the perfect candidate for this picture.
He agreed and while he was unable to do it at the time, he came back and finished the job, and did so amazingly.
I knew he had some trouble to deal with and I was never really mad at the guy for taking so long. At one point I even offered him to just drop the whole thing and consider the payment a donation, since had a lot on his mind at the time. But he stuck with it, which shows what an awesome guy he is.
