"¡Siempre serás mi amigo para siempre, mi querido Pelé!" 🇵🇪


This one has been a long one in the making, but the end result of this was well worth the wait! Marcella loves her bird friend, Pelé. He's not a pet for her. He's a friend and companion, and Marcella will never let you forget it! For those that don't know, Pelé is a Andean Cock-of-the-Rock (no joke…that's what it's named) which is Peru's National Bird. Beautiful looking bird, if you've ever seen one. The males are distinct from the females, too. Definitely worth a lookup if you're even mildly curious. Pelé mainly resides at Marcella's Autumn/Winter home in Iquitos, as he loves the tropical weather that part of Peru brings. When Marcella is back in Trujillo during the Spring and Summer months, he takes care of and keeps an eye on the house for her.
