Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everybody!
This started as just wanting to draw Melody in a cute winter outfit ("lolita winter coat" - Google) but while posing her to show off the outfit suddenly turned into a "Little Lord Fauntleroy" type of story in my head, so I added grumpy grandpa for her to charm. No snowball throwing - yet.
(Also they're both actors, so not her real grandpa.)

While we're here I also want to mention that commissions will remain open for the rest of the year because I still need to make 500€ for rent. While I'll be spending the Holidays with family, I'll do my best to get back to you asap. In case you have any extra Christmas cash to spend ;)

He looks like he hasn't a sliver of whimsy in his heart at the start of the film, but slowly growing more and more until he finally engages Melody in a lighthearted snowball-fight at the end of the 2nd act, before dramatically falling ill in the climactic 3rd act.
