pencil sketch i vectorized. the water-drops were mostly an afterthought, acting as a way to fill space that ended up finding some unity with an overarching theme and color palette. finding out that you could do pattern fills really was a "oh shit, this thing has other colors!" type of experience.

the blue tone on black and white reminded me a lot of the color palette present in one of the areas of chicory (game), specifically sips river. the area has a lot of muted grays, blues, and greens that i absolutely adored in combination with the white and black uncolored-default look. very nice stark contrast that reminds me of the smell of rain.
