This marks half of Lila Storm's playlist of transformations designed, decided to do another one right away because I wanted to play around with this art style some more cuz that Sonic I tested it with the other day was really quick which means I might make this the art style of the Lila Storm comic when I finally get to that part, as well as also Captain N cuz the jagged angles are kinda like polygons in 3D games, it wouldn't be thematically inappropriate

I knew as soon as I started working on Lila Storm that one of her transformations needed to be a horse, I'm not much of a brony personally but you can't have an affectionate parody of late 2000s-early 2010s DeviantArt culture without a My Little Pony homage. But that one was the one I was struggling with the most, even after writing beat sheets for the pilot and several for chapter 2 I had solid ideas in mind for all of them and then one was always just "horse," didn't even know specifically what would be horse about it, if it would just be a talking horse like the MLP characters, or a centaur, or a human knight wearing horse-themed armor as a reference to the Chess piece, couldn't really decide what powers it would have other than super strength cuz horses are strong. I thought of maybe giving it magnet powers cuz horseshoes are shaped like magnets, then it occurred to me that if Mesmarine has electric powers she would already have magnet powers cuz that's how electrokinesis works, and literally just a couple nights ago I randomly for no reason remembered reading The Glass Menagerie in school and that gave me the idea for it to be a glass horse with energy absorption and refraction powers so it's basically a quadripedal Chromastone and now I feel like that was staring me in the face the entire time
