Of course, it wouldn’t be Christmas Eve or Christmas in general without an Eight Crazy Nights reference. Yeah, I remember when the Eight Crazy Nights poster became a meme around like, 2023, and I’ve seen meme drawings/traced variations of the artwork but with different characters. Well, that trend basically died out like most meme trends, but I still really like the poster, and making this was no exception!

This is basically a redraw of my 2023 artwork, but with some of my new characters, and removing DZTVE’s characters since I liked to focus on all of my own characters for this one. And yeah, even most of the characters are referencing the funny looking facial expressions seen on the poster, which is why it’s definitely got a funny/silly vibe to the artwork. And like the 2023 Christmas Eve artwork I’ve made, I didn’t bother with the trees on this one, though I did make some nice clouds like I’ve usually been doing in my artwork. But yeah, silliness aside, this was really fun to draw! And of course I’ll be making art for Christmas Day too, but you’ll have to wait and see, since I gotta think of some proper ideas for that.
