Well, of course I couldn't help myself...if only to get Sol back a bit for being incorrigible during a season where you're supposed to be 'good' and get gifted for it. Wasn't hard, considering he's always drowsy waking up and needed a change anyway. Boy...imagine his face when he got fully up and noticed the green and red 'monstrosity' I taped him into ha ha. The scarf he was fine with, the hat he'll probably shred, but good lucky body, know you're not ripping that diaper off any time soon.....

"SALAND!"

Of course, I KNOW, I know, I'm gonna probably pay for it later---saw the dark look on his face like he was saying 'I'm DEFINETLY giving you a 'present' in this thing!'

"...well, if that's your attitude buddy, guess I won't 'open' that 'present' until Christmas, soooo..." I remark, already heading for the door.

"Sal...al land!" he yelled at me, scrambling to get back on four feet as the bobble thing on the Santa hat draped over his snout.

"Yeah yeah...Happy Holidays bud...if you didn't already notice your diaper saying that heh....whoa," I tell him, dodging out of the way as he charged for me---granted he hadn't adjusted the hat and went right by mee.....I quickly followed---did NOT want him falling down the stairs. Pouting was fine, hurting was another...

Besides...once mom spotted him in the kitchen---making hot chocolate herself---and picked him up, saying how 'adorable' he looked, his steam dissipated. I smirked, taking a cup as he glared at me with a look that said 'oh I am going to make some 'hot chocolate' myself for you tonight...!'

She put him down near the presents and was setting to get a picture of him...he was still a little annoyed, so made...a gesture of sorts....good thing I capped it with a Staryu tree-topper before she took the picture...and good thing I saved the photo when Sol swiped his tail to burn it ha.

Yeah...good thing...he'll look back on this with much better eyes, I'm sure...eventually...merry Christmas bud...

Hey all, know it's been a few months since a post and MANY more since the last chapter...life gives it's one-two-punches and this year has just been so taxing...and trying to do 'happier things' that don't contribute to the pressures of 'reality' gets harder by the day...

But I didn't want to do NOTHING for the series wrapping up 2025...so I commissioned  SpaceMechanicAzul for a nice little Christmas thing to put up to help get through the hard wrap up to the year...and it came out pretty well ha. I love the capturing of Sol's attitude of being trussed up in holiday gear...not overly angry, but annoyed enough to still express himself heh heh. And the burning of the phot was a nice touch I loved. Thanks Azul!

Someday, when things get easier, I will return to the series. I love these characters, and there's still a ton of story to tell and look forward to. So, let this be a little bit of cranky hope that eventually will get there...
