This is one of my happiest memories I drawn for my grandparents for Christmas.



17 was the year that I got the greatest gift of all from them, adulthood.

All by knowing Santa is only my family being him ( Grandma, Grandpa and mom).

At first I was saddened by this, even angry they told me this lie. This distrust, this disbelief and the capture of my childhood fading until Christmas morning. Even thinking of darker ideals of everything from myself and even core beliefs being not real.

Yet this was a gift I realized a decade ago, the gift of growing up. To think critically, and not having to rely on others to have the magic of Christmas. More than just having a jolly saint giving presents and magic, you can be the jolly saint giving the magic. All up to you at giving the gifts as joy and goodwill to others then just ending to feel your pain. Even as an adult, the magic of being myself still rings for me, and those who truly believe.
