A loud rumble echoes and vibrates along Jolk's body, stirring him from his deep slumber. He felt himself being twisted and turned along with the Wormonger's movements, who had long ceased to even give him a speck of attention. At first, he heard words, muffled and incomprehensible... before there was none. By now, he was used to the acrid stench of digestion around him and the gross feeling of the mushy remains of previous prey, although that had him questioning just how long he had been trapped underneath it's black and red hide. Regardless, he couldn't budge a single inch, the fleshy and greedy walls preventing any and all movement. He couldn't even open his jaws to roar in protest or plead for help, much less be able to kick against the walls. A relatively loud GlrrRRRrRnnnGllll rung around him, already giving a hint on what the Wormonger is up to currently. All he could hope for is if someone rescued him, which was unlikely.
Hearing the organic orchestra, the Wormonger briefly turned its head towards the sound, noting that it was their stomach. It had been a few months now, and despite the constant onslaught of their digestive enzymes coating their meal, they refuse to break down. At this point, the worm was certain that its stomach couldn't process... whatever they had ate. They had long forgotten what their meal even sounded like, or even how they felt when they initially caught them. Really, all the Wormonger could feel was those uneven shapes inside of their gut, and a feeling of fullness despite being hungry. Even if the prey they had caught long ago won't melt away, release was not an option. With a small huff, the Wormonger looked away, likely not to return its gaze to its belly for a long time. "I might not be able to digest you... but you won't be leaving."
The Wormonger continues to slither and twist its body along the treeline, dragging Jolk helplessly behind it. The golden wyvern felt every root and rock pressing against him from the other side of flesh. The churning and gurgling of the stomach around him practically made it impossible to hear the outside world. For now... and perhaps for the rest of eternity, he's part of the Wormonger's long black and red serpentine form... a large but mere grotesque distension within its belly, held silent and still like any other piece of meat.~
This is the final part of the Wormonger series mostly made by
Akaikosh, however, this time this piece was made by
gin! Had to get something a lil more special for the final bit.~
