I hate living in the middle of nowhere. There is nothing worth taking pictures of in the middle of the desert. "Oh look, a shrub! Ooooo! A rock, and sand even! Another perfectly blue sky with no clouds!". Photographic doldrums. I'm left digging back through old images to find scraps to edit =P
Vietnam Memorial back when I was working in DC.
What I did: landscape camera calibration, gradient applied contrast to the top and clarity to the bottom to make the text pop more, upped the overall contrast and clarity a bit, infrared black and white conversion, unsharp mask (300%, 0.2, 0).
