that's how imma would imagine asriel (or rather, asra) in future deltarune chapters. (probably chapter 6 or 7) If asra were to visit kris with great joy in hometown, imma suppose they would understand each other's personal problems. it's just my headcanon for deltarune, it's not fully canonized, and toby fox hasn't said anythin' 'bout it. imma also want to clarify that this headcanon idea is very old, imma think it's from 2020 or 2021 if imma not mistaken.
