The Dreadnought Battle Ark was a creation designed by my OP BluePhantom.
How it was built was thanks to the help of scrap machines by the aliens that were observing and watching humanity. Please think of the machines like Transformers, but instead of their planet being a giant robot, their planet is formed by their ancestors who accumulated on a vast planet. They were near a resource-rich asteroid field, and they built more of themselves and others. Once they feel they wish to take a long rest, they connect to the planet and become a layer of the planet. The machines believed they were left here to help the ones their masters watched and observed, to claim the stars, and to bring them back to their masters.

When BluePhantom found them, he was a bit shocked and landed on the planet. The Created were happy to finally meet their masters, who observed the species and wanted to gift them a ship to return home and begin their upbringing. Funny enough, BluePhantom wished to build a starship before, but resources were limited. With the Created's help and design equipment, BluePhantom managed to create a huge ship he wanted to call "the Battle Ark". The Main reason was that BluePhantom knew Earth could never last, or if humanity brought their own destruction, he would try to save as much of humanity as possible to do a reset.
The Created's planet became a ship dock to build the ship within and open up to allow the starship to leave.

The starship's length is 2,200 miles long or 3540.557 kilometres long. I won't go into the width and height, but it was built to house enough military personnel/ equipment/ fighters/ mech units/ transports to conquer a planet, or other ships if need be.
The main cannon at the nose was designed to destroy a planet, but was used only 3 times in its entire history. 1st for testing its power, 2nd if it could destroy a planet, and 3rd against a hostile alien ship that the created couldn't punch through with regular weapons. ( but they integrated the enemy ships' weapons into the Dreadnought Battle Ark Mk-2).

I know this is a lot to read, but this ship will be reused in another story of mine.
Humanity was one of the five most powerful species in the galaxy, working together to help uplift other species when they reached a particular tech level. That was until a new alien race arrived in the Milky Way and tried to conquer it. The Top species held out, but the enemy race passed a virus to 5 species to sterilise us, and even with artificial conception, it was impossible. Humanity was a peaceful race, having only split into three subspecies.
1. The Innovators or Cartographers: People who were born for strategy and office work. Work in offices and love paperwork.
2. The Nexus: People who are masters of supply and demand are masters of keeping everything stocked.
3. The Acolytes: War and battles are their religion, often placed in stasis until needed.
When the war against the enemy Aliens was inevitable, the Acolytes offered a final farewell to the enemies, the biggest F-U to them by getting the virus that sterilises us onto them, and made all former territories hostile and locked down to the point they would have to win through attrition warfare. With them trapped in the space they wished to conquer, it became a vast prison.
The Innovators set out to fulfil a plan to reset themselves and allow "humanity" and the other four races to reclaim their spot in the galaxy. Many Innovators separated to create other humanised species. Earth was one of 27 habitable worlds they set into motion. With calculated forced evolution spanning 100,000 years, taking pieces of the three subspecies to create the perfect human species to reclaim their galaxy. In 100,000 years, the virus would cease to exist and program an immunity towards it if ever used on us again.

This new story is still at the basic level of ideas: humanity will find the Human relic ship, jump-start humankind to become a space-faring race again, and begin seeking territory to expand and reclaim their top spot, like their allied races, using their ancestors' tech, and possibly finding their old allies.
