Origionally the glider was made out of Khanco's curiosity of dragons. He modified it after the great depression hit as a means of boarding target airships whithout them having to be immobilised. The harpoon would anchor him to the target vessel and he'd then reel himself in, using the claws attached to the joint and tip of each wing to secure the whole thing in place whilst he raided the ship. He was rumbled by a small team of pirates after he tried to loot their vessel. However, rather than killing him they realised the potential of his invention, ans so instead inlisted him onto their crew.
