a while ago I made Pistachio vodka and had no reall use for it. However with the run up to christmass I remembered these desserts that we would get each year.

They were these little philo pastries shaped like a birds nest or ring then filled with pistachio and baked in honey

So I put together something to try to get that flavor

Osh El Bulbul

2 oz pistachio vodka (I have a post on how to infused nut flavors into spirits)
1 oz triple sec
1/2 oz vanilla syrup
and a splash of lemon

1 add everything to a cocktail shaker with Ice
2 shake to mix
3 strain into a tumbler

this was really good, I don't have the flavors just right but it is really tastey
