Soon, as we moved and twirled and held one another, our eyes locked on each other, we barely noticed as something began to creep up from underneath our clothing to slide across out skin, smoothing out imperfections, creating a pair of flawless galvanized exteriors. I barely was aware that Jaida's touch was different, faer hands and fingers creating squeaking sounds against part of my new skin as they glided across a nearly frictionless surface. And yet, we were so fixated that soon, our bodies below our necks were completely engulfed, and our heads would be the finishing touches.
As the material slid up to envelop our scalps, synthetic fibers replaced our actual hair, blonde on me and black on Jaida, the latter of which developed a secondary set of fake cat ears on top of faer head. Finally, our faces were briefly rendered blind, deaf, and mute as the masses molded into masks, purple-eyed on mine and golden-eyed on Jaida's. We could see through the lenses, our expression unmoving from slight smiles, as we became living dolls, not needing to breathe or eat or sleep or think of anything but how much we loved one another. How long our Mistress would let us stay like this remained to be seen, but for now, this moment would stretch like an eternity to us...
