in my previous job, we worked mostly from home, but were required to go to the office certain days of the week
but as things got worse and there were less and less of us at work, the tendency was to stop going to the office overall, because let's be honest, going to the office to slowly see your team disband is probably not the best for morale

this day, as i was working from home, my boss called me asking me to get to the office ASAP because there was going go be some sort of inspection by the company management, so there had to be at least SOMEONE there, and i happened to be one of the people living closest to the office

given the employment situation, the whole thing kind of made me panic and i rushed into the shower, get all dressed up proper and stuff and rushed down the stairs to a taxi to get to the office as fast as i could

once i arrived though, there was nobody there. nothing, no one, EMPTY. It was just me
Some time later my boss came by along with the people doing the inspection, and we kinda just talked about stuff going on in the world and abit about what we thing might happen in the future.
He otherwise didn't bring up the fact we weren't going to the office anymore, which i was afraid he might ask or mention, but i think he knew too, that making us go to the office when our employment was already on a lifeline didn't really make sense, and i appreciated that

Oh well, one of those days with a little adventure in them! hehe HAAAWWW!!!
