On Laili Island, dragons have New Year's Eve on the last day of spring. Festivals and parties are held throughout Hiza Calndom and Tribe-Ali. They typically enjoy dancing and feasting, eating sweet treats, and the fledglings enjoy playing with toys. Not all dragons can do the stay up until midnight thing, but many do. Then, New Year's Day is celebrated by those who slept through the year change while all who stayed up late get some rest. Dragons might not celebrate Christmas, but they love New Year's.
