The humble Fengren reside on a high mountain, basking in the beautiful skies of southern Tibet. These graceful bird folk glide to and fro about their village, blissfully unaware of the flames of war that rage on beneath their craggy abode. Ascending to Feng Village is an enormous challenge, but any visitors are met with hospitality. Risa is a Fengren with a special power that she dares not reveal: the power of Clairvoyance. When a friend suffers shortly after the arrival of a few warriors seeking refuge, Risa must use her forbidden power to seek the truth.

My mind keps getting drawn to the third panel. It MIGHT be a flashback to the missing Fan, I don't think we've ever seen a picture of them. And the clothes and the hair and also the jewels are not Risa's.
Or it is one of her own memories from a past memory, which could also mean different clothes/hair. Possbly the brash behavior reminded her of a bad situation where someone forced themselves onto her. Regardless, the person in this memory/vision was having a horrible time.
We'll see, if this is lore for her or a vision about the missing person.
