Ender sighed to herself, glad to be off her paws for a moment.
People generally didn't think about it too much, but kaiju needed to take a break every now and then too. Ender, especially, found herself enjoying a good sit quite often. Being a kaiju specializing in speed, she was built for quick bursts of movement and precise strikes. It wasn't that she didn't have stamina, it was just a lot lower than some of her fellow kaiju. Kaiju that specialized in endurance could travel all night long and still have drawn out fights before they needed to rest, and even her friend Reena could outlast her with ease.
A car horn interrupted Ender's thoughts, and she glanced over her shoulder. Some cars had stopped, as her paws were blocking a portion of the road under the bridge she was using as a seat. Ender cracked a small smile, as no one seemed all that upset by her unintentional roadblock. "Don't worry," she said. "I'm just taking a load off for a bit. I'll get up in a minute and be out of your way."
Turning back, she stretched out a bit, not at all concerned when she heard the bridge groan and crack. Roads and bridges were designed with hold the weight of most kaiju, with only a bit of superficial damage done to it. The best of both worlds, considering people still needed to go about their day and kaiju had their psychological need to break things. The road would be a bit bumpy from her paw prints, and her butt would leave some sizeable potholes in the bridge, but neither would be unpassable.
For now, though, she was just going to enjoy doing nothing; and, who knows, maybe some of those drivers behind he would enjoy the 'view' as well.

Rather obscure character of mine here, eh? Ender hasn't gotten a picture posted here in over four years! Which is a shame, as I really love the design of her. Definitely need to sit down and finish the setting she's supposed to be a part of, but my 'To-Do' list is absolutely massive as is in that regard. Maybe some day.
