This is the second contest entry I made for the Pokemon TCG art contest. I did not win with either entry, but I love them both so much. This one is based off two toy charizard plush dolls I had as a child. One was a very old school charizard with the teeth jutting upwards instead of how they are now, which is pointing down, and a darker orange charizard with a more modern design. When I was little I liked to pretend they were parent and child. So this piece is how I imagined their first meeting.
