With the Patreon & comms winding down to give myself more prep time for a new job, I decided to make December's monthly project a gift for myself. Been wanting to spoof Deltarune Ch. 4's Old Jitterbug dance ever since I saw Peachykip's take on it (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8GzOiV-UV4c&pp=ygUTcGVhY2h5a2lwIGppdHRlcmJ1Z9IHCQlNCgGHKiGM7w%3D%3D), and the jazzy beat's all too fitting for Egg Boss Frostbite's neo-noir vibes. (Technically she’s just an AU offshoot of Hongcha, “Dian Hong” is the stage name she took as a high-class actress.)

Awww, I missed the fact they were married. There's something about sweetness like that which makes hypno/corruption more sensual: sure Frost and Dia are slaves of the empire now, but they're together and living a glamorous life with lots of like minded folks now! It even extends to society, in that sort of scenario: maybe nobody willing asked for these changes, but hey, it still functions...arguably better than ever~
Yeah, you get it exactly~! It’s been on my mind now and then to draw more art of the couple fleshing out their personalities/relationship; I figured Frostbite would have been a more apathetic Egg Boss who only cares about controlling his home city of West Cape (renamed to West Egg, per suggestions from my friend Dimma4c). Originally Frost just wanted to rescue the place from Eggman during the world takeover of Sonic Forces, but the Egg Boss corruption turned him towards instead ‘protecting’ the City as its new controller- Hongcha tried to cut a deal with Breezie to rescue her boyfriend, but of course it ended up corrupting her into an Eggman flunky too. Honestly, it’s Hongcha/Dian who’s more ambitious between the two; she’s comfortable being the submissive in their relationship, but she’s always whispering into her boyfriend-fiancé-husband’s ear about how nice it would be to take more territory from their neighboring Egg Bosses. It’s fun to have a couple who corrupt each other like that; a mutual relationship in the worst way… but still a loving one.
