Sketch of Paca before/after losing her soul mate.
Although Im not fully finished with their story, I have been thinking on how grief would affect her. She wouldnt change her outfit, a shed try to seem strong on the outside, though if you pay attention, some of the robes are rugged, her braid is not neatly done, and her body language is… more defensive. The clearest to see is her new piercings, snake bites, since her partner was a snake.

honestly this is something i really wish we can see more of in art. raw emotion impacting a character not being so happy go lucky but reliving fond memories and contemplating the grief they hold
