Looks like I'm behind on uploading a little bit! Here's yet another daily doodle from 
DanoGambler!
The prompt brought our minds back to when River was employed as a bodyguard for the dragon Meraxes, but going for a more semi-canon vibe. She saved Meraxes' life and almost lost her own in the process, which put Meraxes in a debt to her, at least in his mind. River would be invited to the lavish parties he held whenever she was off duty, and she would often accept, enjoying them quite a lot.
Depicted here is River and Meraxes, resting up after one of said parties! They had become good friends by this point, enjoying each other's company a fair bit!
