"Owing to their military origins; the Sneck celebrate Midwinter by symbolically* fight the dark and cold of Night. Men and women dressed in either civilian green, or military purple, march together while wielding flaming weapons. Snecks skilled in the old arts, armed with these weapons, are truly an impressive sight to behold.
Do note that even in their homeland, you will never see a Warrior Sneck take part in this march; most likely as part of their usual PR-campaign.
*Given their attitude of "We are prepared to fight anyone and anything that threatens us", very few would be surprised if they one day presents a weapon that hurts the Night in a very literal way.
