Samudra Daita, a leviathan, is the sol reason the many seas of Yugadra's are unexplored. She loves boat's, it composes a surprising majority of her diet, limiting any maritime transaction from any civilizations.
While many people despise her existence, for a few individuals, she's their goddess, their protector.
The Cult of the Kraken is full of worshipers that developed a symbiotic relationship with the mighty Kraken Lady. They built a mechanism to have the ability to call her at any moment from basically anywhere in the seas. They take care of her small problems and help her hunt down boats, in return she takes care of them, making sure to protect any individuals from the cult and even can transport them if needed.
