Object of study: Volcanic Ash Bear (lat. Ursus Draconis Vulcanis)
Location: High-mountain volcanic ridges, active crater zone.
Specie: Grizzly Bear and Inferno Dragon hybrid
📝 Researcher's notes
"Today I finally managed to get close enough to paint it. This creature is a real living paradox, the pinnacle of evolution in extreme heat. Local legends call him the "Guardian of Magma," and now I understand why.
It's not just a beast, it's a walking oven. Its internal temperature is so high that the skin cracks in places, emitting a soft but threatening amber glow - as if liquid lava was flowing under his skin, not blood. When he breathes, the air around him trembles with heat.
Despite its enormous size and weight, it moves with frightening grace. He is as clumsy as a bear when he stands, but as soon as he spreads these leathery wings, he turns into the master of the sky. Its fur smells of sulfur and ozone, and to the touch (if you believe the scraps found) it resembles steel cotton wool covered with a layer of volcanic ash."
