At base, it's almost the smallest allowed by VRChat (0.3 m vs. 0.2 m), and yep!
It's possible to go even smaller depending on the world or if you use Mag's Scale Adjuster (https://magww.gumroad.com/l/scale).
The public avatar has the scale adjuster already, but if you upload your own, you'll need to add it yourself.
At the very small sizes, we recommend turning Forced Camera Near Distance in the graphics options to "Fixed". Also be warned, it may break your menu.

It's present on the public avatar! We even added an integration with the Ghost (by PointlessCreations on gumroad.com) - if it's out when you get gibbed/eaten, it will play the rezzing animation.
Though the avatar isn't customizable - we didn't add color or clothes to it other than a backpack (by qwerty on booth.pm).
