These original song lyrics are not exactly poetry, but I couldn't think of anywhere else to put them. I imagine that over time, through the "folk process," more verses will be added. Good luck finding the tune, though. I heard it on the radio this evening, (a cover version, I wasn't paying attention and didn't hear by whom), and had enough trouble just finding out that Leadbelly wrote it! (It was the bluesy tune that inspired me to write this, of course.)
