That song has been weighing on me, along with other factors, recently. It has made me desperately miss my cat Simon who I lost about 5 years back. His loss, even now, is still with me.

*sob* I lost my cat two years ago, and I still remember her fondly for all that she was. She was only two. I don't know if there is a song that reminds you of Simon, but Simon and Garfuncle's "Bridge Over Troubled Water", without fail, brings tears to my eyes. Well, I guess this is the song that makes you think of him. Just remebered where I was.
