The way Alex the butler shows up, it reminds me of another butler from the cartoon, "A Pup Named Scooby-Doo." In the show, Jenkins, Daphne Blake's butler, often shows up whenever she calls him to do various things, such as changing her outfit, dust an area the Scooby gang is investigating, or even screamed for her to avoid messing up her hairdo or something.
