My hands... Can't stop shaking.

It's like I'm wearing a ring of thorns. Someone stuck this splinter in me.

It's so small and it hurts so much, it grows and I can't even remove it. Whoever did this to me must be enjoying my pain and laughing right now.

I'm not laughing. Not at all.

I've seen all sorts of screwed up things in media I watched as I grew up. Like, one of my first PG-13 films was "Justice League: A New Frontier", which opens with some sinister end times narration before a dude takes a bullet to the head offscreen. And Hal Jordan also kills a Korean soldier in self defense. And Captain Cold freezes a dude to death. Like, holy crap, that movie and the comic it's based on are dark.

I'm somewhat aware of the Ringthorn scene from Chapter 4. No, I haven't played the game, and frankly, what the hell. Why should I be shocked by that when I'm the person who likes Deryk Thomas, the dude who has drawn lots of rabbits stabbing themselves? And I've seen lots of more disturbing stuff as well, like the opening of Fear Effect 2: Retro Helix, or the entirety of Dead Ringers, or the hallucination sequence from Trainspotting, or the hospital scene from Jacob's Ladder...

Yeah, to sumn it up, I've seen lots of stuff I shouldn't. What does this has to do with my artwork? Well, I don't know. There's always plenty of history buried beneath each stroke, ink and color of mine, and the same is true for every artwork you see.
