I typically draw my December Drawing Challenges, Egyptobers and DTIYS' in A5 size. Makes it easy to scan both the rough sketch and the marker sheet that they're traced over to before colouring at the same time.
One of the cons of drawing traditionally is limited canvas. I typically start drawing these character from bottom to up and it can be hard to anticipate how tall they will be. I barely got room for Toriel in the original drawing.
The Egyptobers are even more difficult, given how tall some of their hats are (especially Amon).
