Now I have decided to make these two rivals! I had an idea of these two basically being Paladin, but they are also both Samurai, or the children of Samurai who server different noble houses.
Genzai (Left) "Current" is an Oath of The Crown Paladin-Samurai devoted to serve and protect their noble lord. And Gekiryu (Right) "Riptide" is an Oath of Vengeance Paladin-Samurai or Ronin wholes noble Lord was either killed or disgraced but his family has remained loyal and are fighting to regain their lost honor by any means necessary.
Genzai and Gekiryu do not have the full picture yet for why their families hate each other, they both want to make their families proud of them but they somewhat innocently see the other as somebody to compete with rather than their nemesis.
