Cleo pulled out what seemed to be a small rock from her scarf. On closer inspection it was a pale blue crystal that seemed to emit a tiny light. How strange. Upon seeing the crystal Dian eye’s widen and he started bouncing with excitement.

“Oh my Zal! Is it actually it!” he exclaimed.

“I think it is,” Cleo responded with an excited smile. “It was deep within the caves under the Thundering Peaks, just as the legends say.”

“Are you certain?”

“Yes, it was the only crystal I found that was glowing and it… feels warm and I dunno… powerful…”

Cleo held the crystal and closed her eyes. The crystal began to glow brighter and her fur started to stand and burn with a faint blue fire.

“It is real…” Dian gasped.

As Cleo opened her eyes, she almost fell to the ground, but Dian was there to catch her. Whatever she just did had weakened her.

“Easy! Easy now Cloe,” said the old grey cat.

“Is she ok?!” Gyako shouted from across the room after seeing her stumble.

“Yes yes she’s alright,” the grey cat reaffirmed. “She had just made a great discovery ummm… I’ll have to tell you about it later ehhh- Amara, take these two to their quarters, Cleo’s going to need some rest. After you can do a little training if you want or go and enjoy the festival.”

“Yes sir, guild master sir!” responded Amara with a salute and she ushered Gyako and Erilia out of the room.

Gyako looked back to see Dian put the crystal within a small back and lock it away in a chest in the corner of the room. He barely saw what happened to Cleo when she held the crystal, so he was a little suspicious about it. He may have to keep his eye on that guild master, just in case.
