Galehaut the Chespin is an Oath of the Ancients Paladin, a squire Paladin in training under the tutelage of Bertilak the Grimmsnarl, current holder of the title of the mythic Green Knight, which Galehaut aspires to be one day like his master.

Galehaut gets his name from a character in Arthurian Legend and one of the Knights of the Round Table. He was a half giant king called "The King without a crown" because he refused to accept a crown or kingdom till he had defeated King Arthur, so he went around conquering and adding more soldiers to his army because even though he conquered his way from kingdom to kingdom he was also well liked even by the people he conquered, and this made him a massive problem for Arthur and his knights that they were ill prepared to deal with. It was clear that Galehaut was going to win, until onslaught on Camelot came to a sudden halt when he was so impressed by Lancelot's skill in battle and handsomeness that he decided to surrender to Arthur for a chance to spend the night with Lancelot.

Galehaut is not yet big like a half-giant but he is a charismatic chivalrous knight and is in a relationship Faxnir the Sirfetch'd who embodies the spirit of the character Lancelot.
